KOA Corporation (コーア Co., Ltd., KOA Corporation) is a Japanese supplier of electronic passive components founded in Tokyo in 1940, headquartered in Ina, Nagano Prefecture. KOA is one of the world's largest manufacturers of chip resistors. The product range covers low-temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCCs), resistors, temperature sensors, inductors, fuses and varistors. KOA has 3,600 employees worldwide, including 1,100 in Japan. Production and sales are located in Japan, China, Malaysia, the United States, Germany and Singapore.
