Is the solo chip a soc?

Solo chips are not SoCs. There are obvious differences between the two in terms of definition, function, integration and application scenarios.

From the definition point of view, SoC is the system-on-chip, is a system of hardware and software integrated in a single IC chip, which contains a central processor, graphics processor, communication modules, storage controllers and many other different functions of the module, is a highly integrated chip as a whole. The sole display chip is mainly independent of the main chip of the device is used exclusively for graphics display processing chip, its main function is to process and optimize the image data to enhance the display effect.

The design of SoC is relatively more focused on graphics processing technology, and the R&D difficulty and cost are relatively low, but it needs to be constantly innovated and optimized to meet the ever-increasing demand for graphics display.
